Product Description
The Merrell Chameleon Wrap Slam Trail Walking Shoes are great for those long trails in the outdoors. Complete with a breathable mesh upper and a protective moulded rubber rand and a protective molded rubber toe bumper to offer you protection on the go. It also features breathable mesh lining to maintain foot comfort and nylon 6.6 injection moulded arch shank which is a rigid material in the shank area of the midsole keeps the foot neutral in the midfoot phase of the gait cycle. Also has TC5+ rubber which is a highley durable and extremely sticky rubber which will ensure and provide you a great traction in wet conditions.

My second pair ...

Cannot recommend these highly enough. These are my second pair, the others are still as comfortable as the first day I wore them, but had been worn to death and were looking a bit tatty. Supportive, very grippy (which means they can squeek a bit on hard floors), breathable (so they have never developed old trainer smell). When they get particularly muddy I throw them in the washing machine ... my old pair must have been through a gentle wash at least ten times. When ordering get a size up as these consistently come in quite small ... I am 9 to 9 1/2 and these size 10 are perfect.

Lack of quality and dire customer service

I have bought Merrell Chameleons for several years as has my partner. We have always been pleased until recently. The last couple of pairs that we have bought have been very poor quality and not up to the normal wear and tear of everyday use, the fabric is not as hard wearing and the shoes have not felt as substantial. After 3 months use, holes appeared in the softer fabric and they do not hold their shape.On trying to contact Merrell customer service to discuss this we have hit a brick wall, no one wishes to chat or email about the problems that we have!Absolutely disgusted and would not recommend this product at all unless there are great improvements.Wake up Merrell, in these current economic climes you should be upping your game. Survival of the fittest and all that!
