Gamma

Very pleased with this monitor. Excellent value for money and no dead pixels. Just thought I would share a little piece of information for anyone thinking of buying one, it may be useful to you. When I was first adjusting the picture quality, the images all seemed washed out no matter how I set the contrast and brightness levels. So I downloaded a driver utility for my graphics card which allowed me to set the gamma levels on a sliding scaleand hey presto beautiful rich deep colours. Problem solved. Hope this helps.

Auto adjusting

This is a good monitor I bought mine back in 2007 and its worked great. A word of warning though. I am now having the monitor constantly auto adjust and there is no way to stop it. It pops up at random times and its fairly unmissable unfortunately.Great if you need a fix for the short term but wouldn't recommend it for users who are going to use it a lot.
