Great Form but function could be improved

I loved this bowl when I saw it and still love it now that I have it at home. It is made well, aesthetically pleasing and the prices fit well together. But there is a but.The only one major point I would make is that the handles get so hot when boiling pasta that you can't hold them. Yes I have other kitchen units like this that get hot but I would have expected more from alessi with the design. I have many of their products and this is is the only time I think the product could have been improved. There're many warnings about taking care when taking out the drained bit from the pot but not specifically about the heat in the handles. I do not regret buying it (my hubby also loved it) but it could do with some well designed silicone coverings for the handles as a product improvement. Alessi if you are listening handles that could be retro fitted back to the pot would be great. With this issue addressed it would be 5 stars without hesitation. If there is a good reason as to why there are no heatproof handles that would be interesting to know.
