Very nearly bulletproof!

I had one of these watches for the last seven years. Sadly it has just gone caput (the upper push button came off) but seeing as it had been abused and then some I can't complain. It was bumped, scratched, and banged like you wouldn't believe, and rarely left my wrist so was immersed in water every day, plus subject to lots of swimming and showed no sign of any water ingress. It did start to lose the numbers around the bezel after five years but I wasn't worried about that. One of the best features was the battery access on the back - I changed the battery (only twice in 7 years) and it didn't affect its water resistant properties. I've just gone back to a old Seiko whilst waiting for my new watch to arrive, and the jeweller couldn't guarantee (and indeed didn't manage to achieve) water resistance, I find it difficult to look beyond this when choosing a new watch. Highly recommended if you're looking for a solid, stylish and utterly dependable watch.
