Vital for an SLR and it won't break the bank!

I bought this tripod to replace a cheap Jessops one that I was using (it was fine for a compact or a camcorder). This is much better, very sturdy, well built and the camera feels rock steady in it. It will assume all sorts of positions from high to low with the legs able to 'splay' out at 3 different angles. I couldn't afford a manfrotto etc but after testing them in a camera shop there wasn't a huge difference in the quality but maybe that's just me. I use it with a Nikon D40 and have been very impressed with it.
