Wonderful, gorgeous item!

This casserole is earthenware, covered with black non-stick finish, and i looked all over it for some sign if it can be used directly on the stove top. There was no sign, but i put it on the kitchen ceramic taking the risk. It worked out fine, even over the highest heat. This is a gorgeous item!
