Sturdy but smart.
By H. Morrison
Previously purchased a conventional projector stand but it is clumsy and difficult to store. Unfortunately photo of BT890 makes it appear less sturdy than it is.Ideal for slide projectors or home cinema use as it is very stable and well thoughtout. Don`t be put off by the lectern function.

Steady platform for projectors
By D. Brewer
I purchased this item on behalf of a group that holds monthly meetings in a community hall. Most meetings have a visiting speaker, and most speakers use a slide or LCD projector. Projectors used to be stood on an arrangement of suitably stacked items of furniture, so any stand would have been an improvement, but this is a quality item.Whilst illustrated with (lockable) castors, screw in feet are also supplied. The item ships in several component pieces, although not as many as shown on the full exploded diagram! The completed trolley is very solid, and the platform the projector sits on has guard rails and the ability to fit a (supplied) securing strap. The trolley is stored at the hall so the castors are useful, but in case it needs moving to another venue, I took the precaution of coating the thread (that the central column screws into the base by) with vaseline. When separated, the base, the column and the platform fit easily into a car.I was impressed by this item but even more impressed was the guy who sorts out the projection end of the presentations, as the stand is rock steady and he no longer has to wonder if the next change of slide will send the projector to the floor.

A solid professional
By M. Cave
A very robust stand for projecting with a very good height adjustment. We use it in a church. It is perfect for hymn projection and provides a very firm base for the projector.
