Pretty watch
By Ms. Sarah E. Wright
This is a really nice watch which is actually more purply than the picture shows up! The only down side to it is that the curved class and reflections can make it a touch awkward to see the numbers on the dial. No adjustability of strap length, but am sure you could have links taken out if need be.Overall it looks fab on, and is really comfortable-especially as there is an extra clip to widen the strap for ease of putting it on.

This Watch Has Weathered The Storm
By dkm1981
I got this Storm Milli Curvex watch as a gift for my birthday about ten years ago and I still wear it and like it as much as I did when I got it. It is a classic silver bracelet watch that has stood the test of time in both style and durability and I would have no hesitation in recommending it.According to the company's own product description, the watch has some of Storm's signature features including curved glass and brushed stainless steel. Both of these are things that I think add to the simple but classic style of the watch. I am not a fan of big bling jewellery and this watch suits me to the ground - probably the reason I have loved it for so long. The watch size is classed as `standard women's length'. I'm not entirely sure what length that is but it is fairly easy to adjust. The straps are solid bangle style at the front as you look at it, but the back half of the straps are made up of links which are very easily removed. I have very small wrists and I had to have links taken out of both sides of the strap to make it fit, which it does now perfectly. I have read other reviews of the watch where people have said that the watch was too tight even before any links were taken out, so I would strongly recommend trying it before you buy it. The straps are about a centimetre thick so it is small enough to suit smaller wrists, but it is big enough that it won't be lost on bigger wrists either. The shape of the watch and the smoothness of the edges of the straps mean that it is very comfortable to wear. Once it is on I very rarely notice that I am wearing it, which is not always the case with other watches. I have had them wear the straps are quite sharp at the edges so that they can rub your wrists or dig in - this is absolutely not the case with this Storm watch. The clasp to close the watch is particularly easy to manage. It is a simple fold over one but, unlike many of this style, it doesn't require an extra had to shut it. To close it you just push it together and it makes a rather satisfying `click' sound so that you know it is closed. To open it again is even easier because there are two little buttons, one at either side of the clasp, that you simply squeeze together to close.Changing the time on the watch is the same as all other watches of this style, you simply pull out the dial at the side and twist it round until the time is set.In the time that I have had my watch, I have only had to put one new battery in it, which is quite impressive I think. I actually got the guy in the watch shop to change the battery for me as it was part of the service he offered so I'm not sure how difficult it would be to do yourself. I do know however that the back of the watch doesn't come off very easily. I think this is actually a good thing, because you obviously don't want it falling off at any old time but it might make changing the battery yourself a little more difficult. The only problem I can think of with the watch is that the brushed stainless steel straps are completely plain and so little scratches that are a result of every day wear of the watch are very visible. Also, the curved glass on the watch face does stick out a little bit so is particularly susceptible to knocks and things. The watch is multi-purpose. It is stylish enough that it would suit any outfit when going out and it does look like a piece of jewellery, however it is understated and simple enough that you can wear it on an everyday basis. The fact that it is so wearable means that it does offer very good value for money.
