Well made, durable and worth every penny.

I bought this for our 3 year's birthday and chose it because he had quite short legs at the time and this had a lowest saddle height of 34cm, which was quite a lot lower than other balance bikes on the market. The overall build quality of the bike is excellant and has a good sturdy feel about it.The brake is an excellant addition and worth paying that bit extra for. He gets quite a bit of speed up and he uses the brake all the time. It is within easy reach for his little fingers and very easy to squeeze and apply. He seemed to have no problem understanding its use.I have been surprised how much we use the stand - when he hops on and off it is quite useful to have, as the bike doesn't lean against things very well, given the 360 degree movement of the handlebars. He can kick the stand away with his foot and off he goes.Overall, the bike is pretty light and can be easily carried using the saddle as a handle.One minor irritation - the valves fitted are the older narrower kind, which meant a trip to the bike shop to buy an adaptor for my pump. The valve on the back tyre has also unscrewed itself and deflated the tyre in a rather dramatic fashion on one rainy school run, but having reconstucted it and screwed it up tightly it hasn't done it again.There are now many balance bikes on the market, but I would really recommend this one. Its worth paying that little bit extra for the extras and the build quality.

We bought this bike when my son was 2 and it took him no time at all to be pushing it along with his legs. There are cheaper balance bikes on the market but this one is very well made, has been knocked about no end by my son as young boys do and still looks like new. He has now just turned 4 and so we thought we would see if he could manage a normal two wheeled bike with pedals without stabilisers and it took him half an hour to get the hang of it. I am sure that this would not have been the case without the experience of the balance bike and I wish I had known about them years ago!

The bike is expensive and it is worth shopping around. However, it is well made and our 2 1/2 year old has really enjoyed playing on it. Even after a few goes he was lifting his feet off the floor and balancing down small hills. The bike is well made and appears as though it will last. Tight turns are not easy to master as the front wheel and handlebars revolve and are not prevented from doing so as you would find on normal bikes but this is shown as a saftey feature. Delivery was quick and there were no issues, assembly is really easy.
