Great buy

This is an excellent saw, well worth the buy as it cuts very acurately, and although not too noisy it has tremendous power and eats through hardwood like butter. But note, this saw table is very big, I had to clear a lot of space to fit it into my workshop. Assembly took me several hours, that's because the instructions are terrible, the pictures being very poor prints so took a lot of guesswork. If in doubt, look at the big illustration on the box. Oh, AND BEFORE YOU START read the instructions printed on a big label on the table top. It says you should unscrew the base plate and remove the polystyrene packing round the motor BEFORE trying to assemble the saw. The table top with its extensions is big enough to support an 8X4 sheet of board, and there's a nice laser guide for cutting, though this needed a lot of adjustment and packing with some spare washers to get it to line up properly. There's also a tiny bit of wobble with the mitre guide, about one degree, but the main cutting guide is as solid as a rock. I'm very pleased with this product, but it is also very heavy to wheel about, so not easy to keep tucking away after use. And boy does it have power! Just the thing for heavy timber and the odd 'guest' you wish to dispose of :)

Fox F36-527 Table Saw

Delivery OK. Instructions show wheels fitted to legs. No wheels on this model. Build quality not bad. Assembled main body was disgusting. Motor and saw unit was so bad the blade caught on cover and would not be capable of cutting at 90%. I stripped it down and re-assembled (not for the faint hearted). It now works fine but took a whole morning to complete. If you enjoy solving problems and have nothing better to do this ones a cracker.

best for the price

having looked at numerous products and reviews i went for a cheap einhill bench saw the result being you get what you pay for < a pile of junk> not all reviews are accurate, so i learnt by my mistake and went for the fox f36 527 table saw , LOVE at first sight , well packaged delivered on time and lives up to the product claims , a very powerful and versatile table saw , excellent choice for a low budget buy ( im sure they got the price wrong ) a lot of saw for a little cashFox F36-527 10-inch Table Saw
